Acres Hill Primary School in Sheffield involving a '20mm’ overlay in black onto an existing tarmac base around trim trail equipment. With this playground safety flooring project we could utilise the tarmac area as a solid base foundation. The perimeter area was marked with spray paint and then a ‘boundary channel’ is cut with a ‘Stihl Saw’ into which the surface is finished to ensure neatness and safety. Next the materials are mixed on site and the new safety surface laid. Sufficient time is then given for it to fully cure before allowing the children to play.
